Its a yarn holder that can double up successfully as a party stopper :)

It is beautiful in a bright red colour with a rose in its centre- a adapted doily design - in a thread that is so fine -i would have gone blind trying to do it:)

the base is made from a "dharwadi khan" - blouse piece used to make the traditional three piece knotted choli- embellished with the tiniest of beads..

Dont go by its size - its just the correct size to hold a 100g ball of yarn- its so lovingly and painstakingly done and so perfectly finished - it makes me think of all those miniature paintings in the indian style - i am lost for words- totally speechless

what awesome work - what infinite patience - what exquisite workmanship- i am going to show this off like there was no end to it:)
